Double tourbillon mechanism
The invention of the tourbillon in 1795 marked a new era for prestigious watchmakers.
This mechanism is an addition to a watch escapement and it is designed to counter the effects of gravity when the watch is stuck in a position. The double tourbillon invented by Roger Dubuis provides an even greater accuracy than normal tourbillon mechanisms.
